The fee for cat adoptions is $70. This fee covers the cost of the spaying
or neutering the animal, as well as vaccinations appropriate for the age of
the animal and the length of time it has been in our possession. In
compliance with Texas law, we also microchip all of our spayed and

If you have been following the status of our cat program, you are aware that
it was temporarily shut down due to lack of volunteer staff to run our cat
program and care for the animals. We hated the fact that there are so many
cats and kittens in need of homes so we have started to bring in felines on a
case-by-case basis. We do not receive funding from any source other than
the generous donations of our community so we do not have the luxury of a
paid position. We rely solely on our volunteers to care for our animals. It is
our belief that we will only take in animals that we can properly care for
rather than bring in vast numbers of animals and simply warehouse them. We
are still VERY short on dedicated volunteers to help in the cattery, but we
