The Haley/Nelson Construction Company Employees continue their support of the
animals. Some of the employees have selected us as their charity of choice, and the
company matches their charitable contributions dollar for dollar. They do this quarterly
and we continue to receive contributions which enable us to care for the abandoned
and unwanted animals in the area. We would like to thank the employees and Haley
Nelson Construction for their generosity. Employee Deven Doyen (L) gives HLSPCA

For the 4th straight year the 4th graders in Mrs. Valentine’s and Mrs. Frey’s classes at
Marble Falls Elementary School have collected funds through their economics class
project. They decided that a portion of their proceeds would be donated to the Highland
Lakes SPCA. So on June 3rd volunteers Lea Wilson and Lynn Bishop took Chance, the
Heartworm positive dog, to school to thank the class personally. Chance showered
everyone with doggie kisses. Their donation will go directly to the cost of Chance’s
treatment. We cannot thank these kids enough and are so grateful they have the gift of
giving in their hearts.
