If you have been following the status of our cat program, you are aware that it was temporarily shut down due to lack of volunteer staff to care for the animals. We hate the fact that there are so many cats and kittens in need of homes so we have started to bring in felines on a case-by-case basis. We do not receive funding from any source other than the generous donations of our community so we do not have the luxury of a paid position. We rely solely on our volunteers to care for our animals. It is our belief that we will only take in animals that we can properly care for rather than bring in vast numbers of animals and simply warehouse them. We are still VERY short on dedicated volunteers to help in the cattery, but we will forge ahead.
